Darkness Rising Ch.8He knew he shouldn't be interested in her but he  was anyway. Alucard had been intrigued by Abby ever since they had found her in the warehouse. He had never been so-   
"Obsessed," Pip said bluntly one night. Alucard cocked an eyebrow.   
"Excuse me?"   
"You, my vampiric friend, are obsessed with this girl." Pip wore a smirk that had slowly started to spread across his face. "I can tell you are thinking about her right now."   
"First of all, I'm not your 'friend', and second, I have more important things on my mind than women." Alucard replied, fishing out the key for his room.    Darkness Rising Ch.8

Darkness Rising Ch.7Donna shot a FREAK that started to close the distance between us. "What are you waiting for? Christmas?" she remarked. "Let's go!" donna started walking away but kept her eyes on the oncoming FREAKS.   
"So this is what the virus can do to you?" I asked warily, shooting a FREAK that got too close to us.   
Donna nodded. "Pretty much, yeah." she stopped to reload her pistol. "Most people thought that it was a side-affect of the chip."   
I paused. "What chip?"   
She stopped and looked at me. "I thought you knew already." Donna scratched the back of her head. "When Tablen created the first virus, it fail Darkness Rising Ch.7

Darkness Rising Ch.6The entire city was dead, probably like it's inhabitiants. Every building that I saw was reduced to ground zero. I was in shock and disbelief that one organization could do this to an entire city.   
My eyes adjusted to the sudden darkness. Shivering underneath the thin coat, I made my way through the littered street. I checked for any surviving signs of life but couldn't find any. I went further into the city. A horrible stench flooded my nostrils and I knew right away what it was. Rotting flesh.   
Something shifted behind me. I felt my claws growing and the rush of venom fill my mouth. With my guard up, I continued thro Darkness Rising Ch.6
